“I haven't faced a Chaos Pact team before that wasn't a Borg Invasion Cube, so seeing such a diverse team with THREE Big Guys kinda threw me for a loop and I had no way to figure out how to defend (especially since they were receiving first half (and a touchback because of course it's a touchback, I can't kick). Then I decided to treat the big guys like ogres and the maruaders like much stronger snotlings.

It started off bloody. He BHs a centaur, I send his minotaur packing (at least until he scored, since he blew his apo on the mino... I would not have) after a few 1s in rapid succession for the big guys he scored in the middle of the first half when pressure was too tight. My hobs must have had mittens on because they could not pick up the ball for the rest of the half, and so I could not answer. Fouled the mino but botched the injury roll, and he's still up 1-0 at halftime.

Second half, I receive, and it got... uh... ugly. Cornered on the sideline, then the usual "agility 3 does not dodge, ever" series of rolls followed by "let's bounce in every square -most- useless to the dwarves." He was able to pick it up and run off for another TD by the late second half and that was all she wrote.”
