End-of-season fight between the top TV Conference's two basement beasts. Lurkers took inducements to prepare for the bash, but none was to be found until late in the game, when they could not help the outcome.

After a Riot, Nurghlander popped the ball loose to end Turn 4. A Vampire 3+ Dodge & RR'd 1d cleared the ball, but chose to risk it going OB - it did, and was thrown 9 squares back into the Nurghlander backfield, beyond reach of the Lurkers. Nurghlander recovered to end Turn 5, finally dropping the Lurkers to 10 players with a KO'd rookie Thrall (equalizing a true-rookie rotter RIP'd Turn 3), then a Blocker was BH'd by a Vamp, another rookie Surfed KO'd and a 4th BH'd. But the break-thru for the defensive score failed, and the Lurkers almost salvaged their score but with RR's failed a 4+ throw. Nurghlander re-recovered and RR'd a cross-field 5+ pass but missed that 3+ catch Turn 7, and the half ended 0-0.

Lurkers had 11 on the field for the 2nd half kick, but then the Nurgle bash found traction with 1 Thrall KO'd turn 1, then 2 BH'd plus 1 more MNG Turn 2. The Lurkers managed to BH the MA 7 Frenzy Pesti, but down 7 players vs. 10 their position could not hold. Turn 7 a Vamp was KO'd, making it 5 vs. 9, and despite some valiant no-RR efforts, the stall, score and game were all but done.”
