“Never seen so much double 1s on GFIs. As soon as I have seen the ominous "*" behind the sure feet skill, I stopped moving any further, but alas, that isn't exactly helpul with double 1s.
Actually it cost me the game. By the second half, when I recieved I was understrength again but still managed to pull my carrying BC free when he collapsed right before the endzone. Break Tackle proved invaluable when I tried to reblitz a hogob who had the ball retrieved, but I couldn't get a POW to knock that git over. The last few turns were thrilling:
Rogtuok managed a double skull on my Troll Uglybutt Deathfart with a CD Blocker, who was BHed in the process. Barlok Bloodaxe came thundering in on the poor Hobgob carrying the ball, knocked him down, while the other cow, Bradak Firehoove broke free to the endzone.
Nabruz Groinkick, our passing Hobgob tried picking up the ball but failed miserably and the ball was tossed in by the crowd.
Without any RRs left, a Leksaks Laget Hobgob picked up the ball, passed it to a CD Blocker, who made a made dash towards our Endzone, GFIing two times without any problems. Again, Barlok Bloodaxe came thundering in, trying to intercept the lonely CD but failed his first GFI roll to blitz him. Uncontested, the CD made it further downfield, made another GFI and scored the equalizer.
Very challenging game and again I did not have the luck on my side in a game like this. Further two SIs on my players (luckily only missing the next match) take it's toll on my equippe.
We'll see how the team will perform in it's next matches.”
