“Well, nuffle decided that it wasn't going to be the woodies time this year, as the Lizards couldn't no anything wrong. The Leezardzzz received first and promptly killed the MB, tackle wardancer, which the apo saved. Then the Leezardzzz continued to take a few more elves off of the pitch before scoring on turn 7. After both teams line up for the kick-ff, the Leezardzzz were a step quicker than the woodies and blitzed down field, surrounding the elves on the line and getting a skink under the ball and a few other players surrounding him. The skink catches the ball and the woodies have no choice than to try a 5+ dodge for the 1 die-blitz and make and even get the ball out; but alas, nuffle laughed at the woodies vain attempts, as a saurus caught the bouncing ball. And then on the Leezardzzz next turn the saurus runs into the end zone for the 2-0 lead. The woodies weren't giving up yet tho, as they lined up for the 1 turn TD and almost made it...until the catcher missed the 2nd of 3 GFI's and tripped and fell.

The 2nd half saw the Leezardzzz get the ball out of the elves hands early and another saurus ran in and picked up the ball to score and make it 3-1. The woodies were still trying to get a TD tho, and bombed a pass down field that a skink intercepted. The Leezardzzz were set to score again and win the game 4-0, but they failed a block (double skulls - about the only thing that went wrong for them) and left the woodies with the chance to get the ball free and score; which they did. Final score 3-1...Leezardzzz. I think the Leezardzzz channeled their inner elves in this match as they saurii had a catch on a bouncing ball, a pick-up and 2 of 3 on dodges. And the skinks never failed a dodge or a pick-up and went 1-2 in interceptions.

It was a fun game for the Leezardzzz and at least after the killed WD, the elves only took badly hurts after that.”
