Espesh the bit about superior skill and coaching tactics!!!
Commish...can I play him every week??
He says nice things :-P
-----------------------------------------------
A fun game, at first it looked like the mighty blows of Hugo Lloris of Tots n'Ham would possibly make the difference as he was frenetically charging into any tackle he could with an obvious intent to maim an opposition player in the TRUE style of Tots n'Ham!!!
However he became a liability and more suitable opportunities were missed exposing the ball carrier to the wiley Germans of Borussia. The ball was broken out and the score was 1-0 before you could say bonobo :-)
From this point on the English boys struggled to get any action on the ball whatsoever and soon found themselves not only players down, but trying to reach the ball on the edge of their own TD line, as laughing Germans pushed their hands in to the Spurs faces. 2-0 and no perms a good start for the Boys of Borussia!
“Right from the start we knew we were in trouble. As Ape glare met ape glare it was clear that the coaches plan of hiring a merc had disrupted the harmony in the team.
Borussia were soon 1-0 up after a crunching sliding tackle saw the ball land at Havard's feet who, despite some last ditch defending, shoulder barged a defender to tap it into an empty net.
The over zealous reduced both teams to less then 11 and Borussia's superior skill and coaching tactics saw the game end 2-0; a shoulder barge only Helping them score!!
Lessons have been learned and no mercs from now on!!!!
Audere est facere!”
