“GAME 2 OF SEASON 22

A superb dramatic match where both teams played so well that the TD's were equal....the casualties were equal....and even the heaps of fans gained for both sides were equal!!!

The Belles had the better of the first half with Wulf proving pretty useful at downing Apes everywhere including a T1 KO of the giant Silverback! As a result the Belles were able to take the lead in T6. Two turns of slightly better than average Ape attacking did not result in a score and it was 1-0 to the Belles at half time.

However in the second half the Apes recovered and managed a regulation score with the agility of Yann Sommer a key factor in being able to hang back holding the ball before a huge throw allowed Thorben Marx to cross the line with some ease. 1-1

The Belles did try to get the winner and were unlucky that they ran out of training so close to the end and fumbled the ball....the bounces going nearer the Ape markers than the girlie attackers. Game Over!

So far Borussia and the Belles have been too closely matched for either team to gain and advantage in the two games to date and the third part of the trilogy is eagerly anticipated...whenever that may be :-)
