“This was a great match but one where Gloryhole made some glorious plays and then followed them up with failure to give away the win.
Teclis took down their carrier in the first half and Spped Kills got away with the ball and it look good for a defensive TD. We had also cas'd their S3 gobbo. But I left Speed Kills open to a blitz which he survived, and he was then tackled down by a skaven in a dodge attempt! Somehow the Underworld side got the ball over the line. We had a little time left in the half and Terith took the ball forward before being stripped of the ball by another gobo. But Terith was still up and regained the ball to score the equalizer.
2nd half we set up 11 v 8 and receiving. Rather than dally Terith scored comfortably. We were at 11 v 9 so still had a good chance to defend against an equalizer. But the Underworld started hitting hard and we had some trip-ups. Before long we were down to 8 with 3 in the cas box! Teclis then tripped up as he tried to blitz the carrier and his helper. That was a key effort failed and the rat thrower waltzed off to equalize. Fun match though I feel I messed up our win chance a bit.”
