1st half the beating started early, as Da'Crusher got his casualty on his 1st block (I think this is the one that as -mv apothed to killed and they kept the death). I managed to move slowly up the pitch, and even got several pushed out of bounds on the way..however, I was a bit too slow, and ended up having to try 2 GFI's on turn 8 for the score--with no RR's I didn't even get to the trip wire at the goal line, as I failed the 1st one. I didn't feel too bad though, as 5 CD's were still out for the 2nd half (2 ko, 3 injured)
2nd half I managed to let them score in 2 turns, as a kick out of bound and a skull block on the ball carrier doomed my defense (oh and it was really turn 3 because of a riot). However, I managed to get others off and it was still 11 on 7. I was able to bottle up the 7 CD's and rush in for the TD by turn 5, giving me 3 turns to get a 2nd score. More CD's had left the pitch by now, and they played the Exploding runes. 1st bomb by the Bomber took him out (hmm, this might have actually happened in my 1st drive) A perfect defense, coupled with a failed pick up (or failed gfi), let me rush my 2 runners and the Slayer deep, while bottling up his other 4 players. I got the ball on turn 6, and stalled (didn't want to gfi for the TD), and after his lone player in the backfield failed the dodge, scored on turn 8.
