“You are not so bad, man. Ive been playing this game in one form or another for 20 years and I still screw up quite regularly, and 1s dont help anyone :P
The only thing I would say is if you have a turn that puts you on the back foot, sometimes its best just to step back and consolidate your position the next turn. Just look at getting as many people on their feet and out of contact as possible, as once you start "chasing the game" it can be hard to recover.
“I am not a good player. That much is obvious. I thought I was better than I am, but it is now plain that I no longer know how to properly play this game. Yes, I have had a multitude of 1's in the last 2 games, but that is no excuse for a 31% win rate in my last 70 games---12-13% lower than my overall win rate. I've had losing streaks of 7,8, games, and am working on another long one at 5 games. It is frustrating and that frustration feeds into bad play on my part. I make plans, and abandon them. I can't seem to stay focused on the goal. Other teams routinely out position me and are able to seem to do exactly what they need to do every time---be it good positioning or an interception to stop a TD. I am very frustrated.
anyway, on to this game.
1st half I receive and proceed to give up the TD.
2nd half, I can't stop the TD, nor even score myself. At least I got 2 Casualties and the Apothecary worked to save a death.
no new skills.
I have 5 players worth 820k (490 cost to replace) that have -AV. If I don't win my next game, they will all be fired and replaced.
