“The monkeys were in for a rough time. Outstrengthed, they could only hope to outthink their opponents, and since monkeys have about as much combined intelligence between them as a single US politician, it wasn't going to go well. First half was a surprise, as we score on a first turn blitz with Norris the Meat Eater leading the way, but we couldn't slow them down enough to stop their monkeybusiness in an answering score.

Second half was messy. Apes couldn't dodge between broad sides of trees, let alone dodge the lizards. Skinks tear away with the ball at the halfway point because they... hit like trucks, and I... hit like girls. We manage to secure the ball late but the damage was done and time ran down. I failed a GFI when I really couldn't afford to and thus the Lizards win 2-1.

Not complaining, it was a decent match even though the bashing didn't deal anything permanent. I REALLY wanted to wipe out their non-loner skink for good ;)”
