“Black Box Brawl CLXXXXI Finals:

Since the opening kick-off the rain was pouring and the 1s were flowing on both sides. The Nightbreed Slayers received the opening kick-off and weather didn't seem to play much of a roll as 5 Str Vampire Strahd slowly marched down the pitch. The vampires were craving the blood but thankfully for the Thrall's they were consistently only stunned!

The elves had one shot to stop the Slayer's drive in the first half getting a 1 BD hit on the ball carrier without much success. They left them with having to roll some significant dice (with RR) on t8 to go up 1-0 but thanks to some hypnotic gazing the "tough dice" turned to much easier dice and thankfully for the slayers the weather didn't play a significant role.

The elves opened up the 2nd half with a quick score to Witch Elf Stun Me. With many turns left to go, the Slayers began marching again with the ball in Strahd's hands. Once again the elves (with some nice dodging) managed to get a 1 BD hit on Strahd and this time they did not disappoint, Blitzer Foul Me brought down the large vampire.

Then, Strangle Me put his 5 ag to good use with a pick-up in 2 TZs in the rain (4+), dodging away and handing the ball off to 6 ag witch elf Stun Me in 2 TZs (3+), who then leaped away and ran off into the open field scoring on the next play after the vampires recovered nicely. The elves decided to count their blessings and take the score rather than trying to score, figuring they'd let the Slayers attempt a rushed 2 turn TD in the rain.

On turn 16, the Slayers attempted a long pass but it was intercepted by 5 ag Lineman Strangle Me while in 2 TZs to end the game and give the tournament victory to the Masochistic Elves!”
