Very little went well for the Vivisectors, while almost every block and dodge that CHUMP attempted paid off.
CHUMP won the toss and chose the ball, recovered the deep kick and pushed up the one side, tying up as many Necro's as they could. Turn 2 the +Ag 'Wolf KO'd itself on a failed dodge trying a 1d Blitz, and CHUMP broke thru with their rookie Chimp ballcarrier. The Ape Guard Chimp was KO'd Turn 3, and the same Guard Gorilla KO'd Turn 5, but they still controlled the low-Ag opponents. Marked heavily, they fall back and regrouped, MNG'd a zombie and the other Wolf, and stalled until the Turn 8 score, 1-0.
The only thing that went "wrong" was that Turn 1 their Guard Gorilla was MNG'd while the coach was typing, and so the Apo was chosen accidentally - and succeeded, so... not exactly "bad".
Guard Gorilla failed to wake up by 2nd Half but the +Ag 'Wolf did, putting CHUMP at a disadvantage on paper. By Turn 2 both sides had lost St 3 players, but the Vivisectors felt the +Ag 'Wolf should break thru with the ball alone and go for the score. He was Frenzy'd to the ground on the 1 yard line, Stunned, and the ball fell into the hands of a Blocking Linechimp beyond the reach of any other opponents to end Turn 3. Bad dice plagued the Necro players, and CHUMP was able to maintain a screen to break thru and eventually hand off to a rookie Gorilla for his first spp, 2-0, game over.”
