“In the first match of the Chaos Dwarfs vs Orcs, the Somewhat Chaotic Ragnoff's had an extra player. Nuffle was seen on the bench wearing the team colors! Most of my plays worked, including an unbelievable interception late in the first half which led to the 2nd score, whereas the Orcs seemed to be their own worst enemy on the field, completely failing to execute many of the plays glowworm had called.

The hobgoblin players certainly stole the show, an interception, dodges through traffic to pick up balls, escapes, knockdowns and knockouts of the orc players and scampers towards the end zone. The bull centaur Hthark the Slightly Stoppable was quite miffed because the pregame warm-up everyone told him he was going to be a star, or at least a torch, something bright like that. The truth was he barely made a difference on the field and nobody came up afterwards with a mug of ale or a posting interview!

After the game several hobgoblin players were annoyed, no one can figure out exactly what Nobeard the Kinda Scary had done except get knocked over a couple times to earn MVP

A very enjoyable game, I thought we both played well. I am not sure it was a sheer volume of rolls that went one way or the other, as much as several critical roles all seem to go my way. It was a very fun first game and I very much enjoyed meeting glowworm.”
