Tough draw but I feel the Fathers gave it a good attempt. I forgot about the rain in the 1st half and tried an ill-advised handoff after I had already used a reroll for the pickup (due to a very bad kick). Still had a chance to score at the end of the 1st half but the only receiver was a longbeard and it was a catch in the rain. Second half we were doing well then had 2 turns where we got too many pushes. The Fathers tried a risky move to set up a chain push to move chaos players away from the ballcarrier, but again got only a push. EoE easily got a 2 die blitz and they didn't suffer from 'push-itis'. Then the pain started - Mallet had already been killed on a previous turn, Jefferson will miss a game, and Randolph develops a limp and ends his perfect game streak at 46. The Fathers barely won the CAS battle, but not the battle that mattered on the scoreboard. And really, 2 perms & a mng to 1 perm & a mng isn't really much of a win.
