“Some good luck and an opponent misclick/mistake salvages a win from a tie (or loss)

1st half, got some very good luck when they didn't pick up the ball. Got Zamboni next to the ball and lone potential ball carrier. He blitzed me, I sidestepped onto the ball, bouncing it, while using fend to keep him in his place. He dodged to the ball and failed. Zamboni quickly picked up the ball and scored. Then I could not stop the stall--really didn't try hard--and on turn 8 my opponent did not score (misstake/misclick apparently). Robbed me of a OTS chance, but non-the less we went to halftime with an undeserved 1-0 lead.

2nd half things started to go off the rails a bit, but still had the ball at midfield and relatively protected..but they got in and knock the BC down, then get 3 players in the TZ of the ball. I worked very hard, and got some very good bounces (and a -2db that was double push) to get the ball into just one TZ. Then Yet Another Dead Rat gets up, dodges out, gets the ball and dodges away for TD #2. I think..with me getting a chance to receive in between, I should be able to stop them scoring twice. They take 3 turns to score TD#1, but take out (KO) my potential on-turner (and he doesn't recover). Then when I failed to pick up the ball they were able to get to it. My 2db failed to knock the BC down, but I was able to surround him somewhat. Still, with a RR and 3 dodges, he got out. However, my blitz the next turn did work, and stunned the BC as well. Since it was my turn 8, I just tried to get the ball to a downfield GR, but failed the pass--it goes out of bounds and the crowd there must have been Rat Fans, as they threw it even deeper into the Crazy Corrupts backfield, ensuring the win.
