“ Early in the game, the revealing uniforms of the United team seemed to cause great distraction to the normally exacting Elves. The fairer race was missing dodges and failing to pick up the ball, obviously paying more attention to the fairer sex than the game. Later, as the score became insurmountable, three elves in a row laid down on the pitch with badly hurt results, probably just for the ambulance ride away from the partisan crowd at the stadium. The fans did end up rushing the field and tearing down the goalposts (and an elf), but the final gun went off, amazingly, to handshakes between the teams.
