My first turn blocking and fouling was solid, putting 3 players off the pitch on the first turn. My second turn I had crazy bad luck - take root fail, re-rolled, triple skulls. Feh. Guaranteed easy TD for my opponent after that.

I continued fouling and KO'ing players, eventually even BH'ing the ogre. I scored on a passing play to tie the match up at halftime.

After kicking, my player got hit with a rock and injured, and the rest of that half went no better. Bad dice for the full 2nd half made it boring, as my opponent did not have to work very hard for the winning score, and my ability to hurt his men vanished. The trees made no casualties, and ultimately my cas luck evened out to be pretty bad given all the MB and DP fouls.
