“The Plebeians lined up for their third Human matchup in 5 games during a journey across the Empire. The Sons of Brutus are a well known outfit but had a lot of Journeymen in this contest.
The SOB Thrower made a surprise short pass early in their drive to get past our line. It worked out but after Blitzing one of their screen players away we have 3 players on him. With the wrong player chosen SOB use an unreliable loner for a following blitz and down he goes. Jesiah then bashes down and kos the opposing thrower and Hans our catcher picks up. He is not safe yet and is brought down in return by a dodging blitzer. We again recover the ball with Jesiah near our endzone. SOB get a tackle zone on him and he just needs a simple dodge to help us manouvere our cage to relative safety. He falls! A loner picks up the ball and gets the TD. with the ball stolen and 3 opponents ko'd it had looked like a great defence but with the score and all recovered the Sons of Brutus are smiling. Then on our drive Jesiah fumbles! Two opponents are on to him and take him down but they can't quite make it a shock 2-0.
Second half a fan helpfully hurts an opponent but we are not hitting well. Jesiah takes it up the pitch for the equalizer. A brief stall but some time remains.
Then the fans riot and SOB take benefit from a ref decision to allow more time. It all seems to be going wrong for us as Gotwinus trips up and needs apo help to be saved by death while the opposing players start wracking up casualties. We seem ineffective. In the last moments Heinz then has his ribs broken and the match is left with 1 key hit. HOTSTONE double skulls the last Blitz! 1-1 it ends.”
