“GLT XI: Forlorn Races Qualifiers 1 Round 2:

We received, eventually our ball carrier got 1 BD sacked, we had very good opportunities to get 2BD with tackle vs the dodged vampire but in order to do so we needed a 3+ dodge with dodge skill to free up two guards to get the 2 BD hit on the ball carrier... But the hitting was gazed, meaning a missed dodge would result in disaster.. It seemed like the only/safest option but the dodge failed and that allowed the vampire to run off uncontested to get an easy 1-0 score.

The 2nd half opened with a quick vampire score to go up 2-1 followed by a riot... Leaving very little time left to equalize... We managed a quick score and were up in players (12 vs 6? or so)... We managed to pressure the ball and set ourselves up for a potential T16 score to force OT but the vampires recovered well and managed to control the ball... Leaving us a 1 BD hit and near miracle score which just was not meant to be.

The real game changer was the missed dodge in the first half, but the vampires played well to force the ball-carrier sack. Best of luck in the tournament!”
