“Interesting match. The Mega Americans diced the crap out of the chaos side for the full first half. Not much story to tell there, just very unbalanced dice.
The second half was a bit different. My plan was to pick up with my blodger then foul his lone tackler. Unfortunately, sure hands failed me and the pitch quickly became a mess. Norse started flying off the pitch; though most of the damage was KO's, KO's are as good as a kill in the second half. Between the bash and the ball being on the ground, I wasn't able to prevent a defensive score from the Crusaders to even it up.
In true norse style, I opted to go for the exciting crowdsurf instead of protecting the ball during the final kickoff. I only had 6 norse remaining, and came very close to losing the match due to poor positioning, a great kick, and bad KO rolls. Luck was still with me, and the tie was preserved.
Note: though I can hardly complain about dice, given the way the first half went, 44 blocks + 3 dirty player fouls with zero casualties is definitely a bummer. Biggest bash the norse pulled off was a KO on the minotaur on a foul.
Fun match, and great opponent. Play again anytime, Stonetroll!”
