“Jim and Bob treated us to an epic commentary! The first half saw some missed blocks and reroll burning galore in balzing sunshine. Johhny B. Good opened the scoring and when Jack B. Nimble got away for the Evergreen's second it looked like we could have been on for a rout. Half time 2-0.
The second half saw a laboured drive from the rookie beastmen in a raging blizzard, no doubt the work of the angry chaos gods. Eventually the drive broke down and the elves were away for a third - or so it seemed. Johnny sprinting in the snow trying to beat the clock slipped on a well iced endzone. Final score 2-0.
Johnny's lawyers are appealing against the 'unauthorized use of weather intervention' which he feels robbed him of his brace but so far the stadium owners have been unavailable for comment. It is possible they were eaten post game by the angry and hungry looking beastmen.
Great fun game - thanks.”
