“Walk down the right road in Sin City, and you could find..... Anything.
Marv and the crew stumbled out of the club after the normal night of revelry only to bump into some dainty dandies who had a few too many to drink themselves. Kevin wanted to cut them up right there. But Hartigan had a better idea. These daisies looked a like they had a little spring in their step. A trip to the blood bowl pitch should ruffle their feathers.
Once the challenge was accepted, Jackie Boy noticed Vince was with them. A local boy who had gone pro. At the very least he would make it interesting.
When they reached the stadium, Marv made a phone call to an old cellmate named Bolgrot. Just to make it fun he told him to bring the saw.
Bolgrot sat on the sideline the first drive hiding the saw he brought. The rest of the team focused on Vince. They smacked him around pretty good and when he went to the bench he smartened up. Why was he risking a pro career and a large paycheck in a pick up game? He would refuse to reenter the match until the last drive when there was no further risk to his career or reputation.
As time ticked away, the Saints scored and the fool Bolgrot came off the bench at the last second. The ref spotted the saw immediately, and could not even properly use the saw before being escorted off the field.
The second half was one that any fan would have loved to watch. The ball changed hands several times and the Saints had a few opportunities to put the game away. But in the end, Gail showed why she should not be forgotten and walked in for the tying score.
When the game ended, Kondor crossed the pitch and thanked Rat_Salat for the great match. Their teams had met thrice. With a 0-2-1 record, Kondor had not yet figured out how to beat him. Surely there will be a rematch. Maybe next time things would go differently.”
