Anyway, it was tale of two halves. I didn't want to score fast of course, and even though the apes started leaving the pitch, it didn't look like I could remove enough to score a defensive TD.
I had to dodge my ball carrier out in turn 7 to score, but having a re-roll It was an acceptable risk.
The Madness of Man KO'd an ape I think, but otherwise was a useless, stinking wild animal. ”

Hoo boy the apes came roaring out of the gate. Big Andre wipes the pitch down with two casualties while the rest of the monkeys stop picking lice out of their fur long enough to stall for half the half and and then score.
Second half was a different story, with my advantage of first blood exhausted and not enough of a numbers difference to stop the horns of the chaos... Word to the wise kiddies, GFIs... not even once! :P Battle strategy changed from "stop them cold" to "let them tie it, but make them HURT!" --- when the lightning bolt missed though, that was the sign from above that it was not to be. Tied at 1-1, but at least I made him EARN that TD.”
