“Cheers Rawlf, yes that was a really good, marathon game, so much happened. The elfs hit hard, thought I was in big trouble after the 1st turn - 4 rats down, a lino killed and path opened to badly hurt the Ruffians' Legend blitzer! Perhaps the key moment was Skitter stabbing the Strip-ball wardancer early in the game... the elfs bossed the bashing throughout but Stinky still had room to run for most of the game, scoring a hat-trick despite 2 kick-off blitzes against.

The Ruffians thought they had it late on in normal time when they managed to retrieve the ball and punt deep, but then a failed wiz and blitz and a bad scatter allowed the elfs to pull off an amazing full-pitch passing play. That set up OT - the Ruffians were at least fortunate to win the toss, although with numbers down and some good defence by highly-skilled elfs they only just secured it!”
