“First half was ruled by the dice of the scatter (bad bounces made it impossible to advance the ball when I retrieved it at all), the one die block (his? always successful, mine? never), and the pick up roll (my orcs had so much butter on their fingers I was surprised they weren't pretending to be halfling chefs). Second half the lords of the scatter were a little more kind in the opening arguments, but we didn't have enough bodies to defend properly (as nearly every hit was a KO and we were down 4 by turn 11).”
