Nuffle had his way with us all game.

The humans received, the elves rolled blitz and came close to the ball. A snaked pick-up was all they needed to score.

Hummies reset and tried again. A leaping sack of the ball-carrier looked like doom for them, but fortunately Nuffle decreed that the ball would bounce into the hands of the human kicker. After that, and thanks to a lot of cas dice, they managed to outnumber the elves to the point that Knights United could score.

The elves started the second half with an ill-timed failed pick-up close to the LOS and the hummies swarmed them. It took a few turns and a few more cas, but eventually they secured the ball and moved it up the field. Progress was slowed by the need to keep a double-thick cage against the leaping strip-baller while the other elven blitzer was kept busy dub-skulling himself against the thrower.

The elves tried hard, but Nuffle had other ideas today. Totally crazy game. Looked lost on turn 2.
