First Half
Suffered 4 casualties in the first 3 turns, my ball carrier sacked and the ball stolen and secured. My only decision then was to stay down or keep standing up and taking the hits. Decided to keep standing up it paid off when I managed to KO one dwarf late in the half and my opponent did no further damage to my team.
Second Half
Kick to my opponent 9 vs. 10 Dwarfs, both ghouls out and a skellie out, leaving me with a slow and outnumbered team. My opponent for some reason tries to pass the ball and drops the catch leaving me a chance to steal the ball which i managed to do. I then made the obvious choice to stall for three turns to ensure the tie.
Kicking when i will start with only 8/9 to 10/11 opponents with three turns left to score for the win?
That would have been very foolish indeed.
I was extremely lucky to pull off the tie in this game that i thought i would lose 2-0.
If 4 cas in the first 3 turns is not a dicing then i guess i don't use the term in the same way as you. Sorry if i annoyed you too much with my whining and complaining. Not stalling would have been madness though, so i won't say sorry for that.
I gotta say though i find refusing to admit that the dice have been very one sided a little annoying too. I also stand by my statement that i have never seen a team come back and win after suffering 4 cas in the first few turns, not a bash team anyway.
Yay..tie game. The Death Roller goes crazy--3 casualties in the 1st 3 turns and a couple of stuns on fouls (but got caught on the 2nd foul)
1st half, not much could go wrong, but my opponent went over board in complaining...yeah, I had luck, but it was far from an epic dicing. Anyway, by the time I scored at half time, he was down 3 players..but I WAS DOWN TWO due to a KO not coming back, so it was 10 on 9 for the kickoff...something my opponent claims he's never seen someone come back from in over 4000 FUMBBL games. sheesh.
anyway, yea, I got a little PO'd at my opponent's boo-hoo'ing....
2nd half, things went the other way, as very little I did worked, and he was KO'ing players left and right. But, despite this being a Tournament game, my opponent went for the Tie, stalling 3 turns before scoring. Yet another annoying thing...yeah, you can't come back if you don't even try.
edit: sorry you took it that way, but I was trying to say "it's early yet, the luck can (and often does) change"...which it turns out it did, thus the tie. ”
