NA 2nd round match
OUCH, my pathetic Undead limp home after getting badly beaten down by some filthy lowdown Gobins.
First half started well with us receiving and taking out a couple Goblins, but quickly went down hill as my team began leave the pitch in droves. The Goblin chainsaw killed my ball carrier they recovered and even though we managed to sack the ball carrier once they recovered again and we couldn't stop the score.
Second half the nightmare continued with more Undead failures and unstoppable super Goblins. We did eventually managed to sack the ball carrier and stop their td but failed our last chance attempt to tie the game.
Two games in and i have yet to win a game, so much for Undead being a strong starting team, not strong enough to compensate for my poor coaching abilities i guess. The first half has been terrible in both games, with me taking a beating, losing the ball and giving up a td on offense. Second half has been a slight improvement but not enough to make up for the horrible start.
Stimme, good luck in the rest of the tourney, i am now jumping on the Goblin bandwagon, I hope you watch you tear through some Dorfs as easily as you did my Undead team.
PS Some first half stats;
Undead 3d blocks that had a Pow, 1/8
I lost track of the 2d blocks but they were poor, we rolled double skulls twice.
Goblins made all 13 dodges they attempted and were 2/3 on 1d blocks(the failed one was a push), also chainsaw was effective both times(stun and RIP) it was used and only ko'd once i took it out. I lost track of 2d blocks but they were also very effective. Trolls failed two bonehead rolls(one without assistance) and were 4/5 on blocks including a POW on my ghoul ball carrier.
In short it was an epic dicing.”
