Tangueros won the toss and elected to receive, surely thinking their POMB mino, and tackle/claw Maurader would be able to deal out some punishment. Indeed the Mino was able to KO a loner on the line, but the rest of the blocks resulted in a couple simple knock downs. The ST4 Elf secured the ball and advanced slightly, using Canaro, a Blodge/AG4 Maurader in front as a weak screen. This was to prove a mistake, the Tangueros underestimated the mobility of White Rock.
Joeseph had some help from Mik to set up a blitz on Merello II, the tackle/claw, and landed a hard hit, taking Merello out of the game with a badly hurt. Les'le, Alexi, and Aaroon then swarmed around and over the Tangueros who were 4 paces from the ball, and got 3 marks on it, including diving tackle from Alexi.
The Tangueros then went for more blocks at the LoS, and the Mino blitzed Aaroon off of the ball, getting a BH for his efforts, but the White Rock apo was on the spot and patched Aaroon up, too valuable a player to lose so early in the game. The other loner was also KOed, but again, the Tangueros around the line of scrimage were marked, or had blocked, and really had no way to get back in support. Still Piazolla II is also an elf, with dodge, so getting away from diving tackle isn't a terrible proposition, yet, he failed, and the ball bounced to a location where Les'le with her MA9 could easily pick it up and score. Which is what she did. A stall attempt could have been made, but the Tangueros did have a wizard on their side, and White Rock chose to simply make it 1-0 early for themselves.
On the next drive the Tangueros played it safer, retrieving the ball and setting up a full cage in the backfield. They took their safe blocks along the LoS, but didn't accomplish much with them. White Rock again got a tremendous blitz from Joeseph, who BHed the only remaining tackler on the Tangueros roster. He also opened up a hole through which 4 Midnight moved in to mark the cage, while still keeping all but the mino marked at the LoS. B. Aries countered with a Mino blitz and several other blocks, but didn't accomplish much, the ball was still in the backfield, and Mik was prone next to it. The cage was muddled as well, so you know what came next right?
Joeseph knocked down the Mino, taking guard off off Mik, the Midnight guard players swarmed in the cracks while Jenif used her jump up and MA9 to mark the other Tangueros in the broken cage. Mik made the blitz a connected with tackle to down the ball. It popped out into a bit of a messy possition, but Aaroon is MA8, AG5 with leap, so he used all of his skill to get in and secure the ball.
Things certainly looked grim for the Tangueros at this point, so the Wizard was summoned, and stunned Aaroon, the ball though bounced into the middle of the scrum, and the Tangueros simply had no easy way to get any hands on it. They tried valiantly with Canaro, but a dodge into two tackle zones proved too much, he went down, and the ball bounced to the side, safe for the Midnight to recover.
It was at this point the absolute bottom fell out for B. Aries. While they did manage to KO Aaroon, White Rock played the stall to turn 8, and Les'le even surfed a Tanguero whom the crowd beat senseless. Aaroon did decide to simply take the 2nd half off, but the numbers were 10 Midnight vs. only 7 Tangueros, not good odds at all.
White Rock took the kick, and proceeded to badly hurt the Minotaur, the rest of the half continued in that vein with White Rock landing solid blocks and taking more and more Tangueros off the pitch. Ultimately scoring two second half tries to put the final tally at 4-0.
The only silver lining for B. Aries was that there was only one serious injury, and it was a simple mng.

That was just a dicing, but Kalessin took it in stride. Almost nothing was working for him, and elfs are really stupid if they get good dice. Hopefully you can use this write up for your weekly piece, though I would also enjoy reading your take on this match up :)”
