“Fourth game of Road to Retaliation, finally a victory. Due to lack of thralls we decided to put our 3 blodgers vampire on scrimmage, this tactic worked and the thralls did not suffer injuries. We forced the elves to score early in their attacking turn and we got plenty of time for the tie, which came in last turn with a bit of thrill, as Count O'Driscoll was sent down by a strong elf, but he managed to handle the ball to Ian Strigo while he was falling and our sure handed vampire scored.
We inflicted good pain in second half and Laurie-Torn-a-Part stomped their blitzer, the guy had to be apoed and after that elves grew concerned about their health and eventually gave up the ball chasing. We scored in our last turn and that was no time for opponents to try something. This positive result gives us little hope for the rest of the Road. Five games remaining.”
