“1st drive was costly in terms of manpower and I could not recover. Also, the ball refuses to bounce favorably (nor am I able to pick it up in TZ's)
1st half took 4 or 5 turns to score, and I had two journeyrats SI'd and a linerat killed, so I had to put my thrower on the LOS, and he gets SI'd. Could not stop the return score before half..tied 1-1
2nd half he took all 8 turns to score, but I had my chances, even knocking the ball out once late in the drive--and with only 5 players on the Pitch, if I could have picked it up and passed it, might have won the game. But, the ball doesn't bounce well for me, and I can't quite pick it up in a TZ or 3, so they finally get the score on turn 8. Not enough guys to get a OTS try (unless I had gotten a quick snap).
do manage to get 3 players skills...Brain gets Mighty Blow, Zip gets Wrestle and Zlasher gets Strip Ball (which would have been useful this game at least once)
bought a RO for some muscle :)

Great player, but was a little more luck on my side.
I think it was a good game and i would say the same even if i lost the game.
Vera hard to play against skaven, and i think its best to kick in first and make skaven score early then equalize. Even if not still can hold on to the ball and at least tie. I was lucky enough to score in first. Then all i had to do is hold on to the ball. It was a miraculous TD at the end of 2nd. I went for a tie to be honest.
