“The first few turns, this looked like a dicing that would have been an easy victory for the Dwarves. Then Bach took out the Roller. The Dwarves were already in position to score, and there was nothing the Mercs could do to stop it.

On the following kick, the Mercs struggled to advance the ball, and as time ran out, Brother Bill tripped over his own two feet with a clear path to the endzone, missing they tying TD.

As the second half opened, the Mercs severely outnumbered the Dwarves. Bach laid out Amulek, and plucked up the ball. After a short struggle, it was eventually Shizbat the Foul who got the ball in to tie the game.

With only 2 turns left, it seemed the Mercs would need a good kick, and some poor positioning by the few remaining dwarves to secure a win. A Quick jump on the kick, in the form of a Blitz, was just what the Mercs needed. Back laid out another Dwarf, and danced under the ball as it came down, catching it. The rest of the Mercs rallied around him, forming a wall between Bach and the Dwarves.

Bach sailed into the endzone with little effort as the mercs moved their win streak to 2, both victories coming at the expense of heavy dwarf casualties.

For the efforts of the team, Brother Bill Breaker and Ricky Blackwell each gained new skills. Bill gained a boost to his Strength, and Ricky collected Mighty Blow.
