#11 Glenkinchie – Gouged Eye (MNG)
#14 Bowmore – Smashed Hand (MNG)
Splendid game recap by my fellow coach. Everything went rather smoothly, and the Highlanders execeuted well.

#9 Mithing Deef – Pinched Nerve (MNG)
#11 Sore Bits – Dead (RIP)
The Norse fans came out in strength today, rioting, throwing several well aimed rocks (poor Mithing Deef, we'll mith ... miss him next game), and otherwise improving their team spirit and coordination. Spirited play from them though, throwing the ball about with abandon, we nicked it a couple times as a result. But with Leif and Clive already feeding, the lads do struggle to move the ball alone.

They isolated our main force tremendously well really, barely coming near the big timber and never giving Leif a chance to flail at them before they'd knocked him over. He's learnt a bit from it though, says he'll not go down so easily after that lesson. Good luck to him, there was a fair exchange of casualties already, so this should see us at least hold that, good for business.

Sore bits, after a tremendous game not long ago, had his ... well, it was ugly, one too many pies before being kicked in the guts. Still, the funerals here are joyous thanks to all the pies, and there's always a replacement to be found there. More pies, more replacements.

Just not enough lads on the bench today I feel. Couldn't pressure their drives once we got down and with Frozen Shoulder off the field the others just aren't as good at recovering the ball. Gave it their all though, great spirit. Nearly got an early first, a middle first, a late second, wasn't to be. Throws short, boys not landing, team coordination just not there. I was perhaps too busy shouting at Leif and Clive to try to get them into action, more encouragement to the boys needed, especially on taking down their ball carriers.
