“The Mad Experiments came out of the laboratory of the first match bloody but unbroken. Unfortunately for them, they were running up against an always dangerous team, Underworld.
The game went better than their first match. The Mad experiments had a rare strength advantage, but were still at the disadvantage for block and ball handling skills without their blitzers or any throwers. The game turned into something of a finesse bashing game with selective blocks from both sides, multiple KOs and only a few serious injuries.
The Underworld team got demoralized early in the second half after a thrown rock prevented a TTM to equalize and decided to walk off the pitch, turning over their winnings to the Skaven team in exchange. Not too many fans showed up for the match as the Skaven only walked away with 50,000 crowns.
It was a much needed breath of air for the Mad Experiments, with the Gutter Runners all beginning to realize their potential after the match. I got a +ST gutter runner is what I'm saying.”
