Other than that most of the things I tried failed. Game started, master chief stole 0 rr. My strategy was after pulling spiked ball card in the rain was to let the ogres receive. The weather turned sunny right after kick-off. One snot got ko-ed by the ball quickly but I could not win it. Demon covered it well and started bashing. It turned out that snots are not so good ball carriers, I could 2d blitz him and got the both down I needed. But that is when the miracle happened! The ogre next to him catched the ball and started to run with it... till Ripper stopped him. After that we mostly stood around the ball hoping the other will get stabbed by it.
Second half we got a rr at least from chief. But an unsuccessful 2+dodge got the ball loose and the goblins were in trouble. A snot flew away with the ball soo quick we decided to burn him with a lightning bolt. Stupid idea really, snots are too small to be hit by lightning... Fortunately we could stop him by a both down again but it was only matter of ogre teams incapability to score that saved us from a defeat. Demon was a cool guy to play against, we will really have to rematch it sometime...
P.S.: Somehow I felt unlucky all the time during the game which is probably a signal of my poor coaching skills. My excuse is that we played very late at night and i couldn't get enough sleep the last couple of days. ”
