“The dark elves glared at the team across from them. Humans... and not just humans, but a team of amateurs. The team captain sniffed and wondered why their coach had sent them to this demeaning match. He quickly learned no team should be taken lightly.

The dark elves kicked the ball away and settled in for some beautiful violence. They were not disappointed. The Armatures were heavy handed, but they underestimated the agility of the Dark Elves. Two elves leaped over the line, knocked down the ball carrier and picked up the ball. The rest moved to occupy the clumsy humans. Inexplicably, the humans main blitzer ran over to offer an assist rather than hitting the ball carrier. Osprey leaped and dodged away but he was not quite quick enough. He would be drug to the ground an fouled. He was badly hurt but this is an area where the apo never fails and she was able to patch her up for the second half.

Though Osprey did not score, the set back in field position was just enough to keep the humans from scoring in the first half.

The second half saw the dark elves put on a show of professionalism. Neither team could create much of a numbers advantage so Osprey was able to take the kick of and loiter near the endzone for the winning point.

A great match. Soon Kondor's other teams would have to take on the Amateurs.
