“The Wrestlers stepped up to face Underworld here. In the first half the Skaven Thrower Nelson scored without much resistance. we held in the middle for some time. When the moment seemed right down our flank. Bulldog's quad skulls against a blitzer at the start of t2 showed the challenges we faced. When the Ogres gave chase the thrower crossed the line. That left us plenty of time and we decided to hold in the centre until the time was right. When that came Bulldog again let us down with a snaked bonehead. :) The ballcarrier Lucan was nervous then and was right to be as the super snot was in a fireball that somehow affected just him and killed him! But no, the apo adores Lucan and saved him. A rat took the ball but ran too fast and tripped up. So we ended the half 1-0 down.
Second half Bulldog was going to smash a place for the Ogres to advance but he failed again, just pushing a gobbo. So Haystacks launched Lucan forward from halfway. But he went short! He could only get close to the endzone before a rat dodged through and blitzed him. Lucan showed his talent by sidestepping the charge before scoring.
The next defence was a bit dumb and the Underworld comfortably stalled in the corner. Haystacks was ko'd by a claw and a couple of snots were in the cas box. A 2-1 defeat today but Bulldog and Jim did at least finally cas Skaven.
