“It seems our opponent's team was better named: Dwarves who forgot their armor. A tough game for dwarves when they can not stay on the field.
First half was a solid grind for the T7 score. Second half, the dwarves were still without their runner (who could not wake up) - and could not get past midfield. Eventually we stole the ball for the 2-0 win.
Nuffle decided that I suck at this game and decided to make it easy for Azure (not that he needs any help at all :)
1st half started badly, as the DR was knocked down and stunned Turn 1. By turn 3 he's next to someone, and I get to choose a the block die..not paying attention, I pick the pow/skull (thinking everyone on my team has block--they don't)...oops..by this time, Larry had died. Next time my DR acts, he gets taken down again. I got one foul with him and one block in his 6 turns..stunned a zombie and I think the block knocked me down..DR was useless. By the time Azure scored, my lone runner had been KO'd...and he would not return. I do manage to kill a ghoul before halftime
2nd half I'm down 3 players so it's 9 on 11. My 1st turn of the half is good, as I get a player off the pitch and knock players down, leaving no one in a TZ of the Undead. Still, from here on out every turn at least one of my player's armor is broken and I"m stunned or hurt...of course the blitzer with the ball that gets jammed up at mid-field is the one that is hurt. From there I can't do anything already down players and at least 1 or 2 players stunned every turn. I get my 2nd casualty on the consolation kickoff (even that went badly as I didn't even get to finish the blocks on the LOS as my slayer fails dauntless and rolls a skull).
just one of those games, that I seem to have quite a lot of. ”
