Highlights of the match:
A running play that almost made this rabid bunch of flea bitten rejects look semi-professional put the U-dogs ahead in the Fourth turn with only one neck broken in the process.

But WH! responded in traditional undead style causing 3 SIs in one turn, including a second ankle break that has led to the retirement of Azu’nee, and levelling the scores in the final moments of the half.

Then came the moment of the match – early in the second half Odeen-natses wriggles through the defence and sprints up to the WH! star player and ball carrier, Ju. Gerald PFR picks up the veteran flyer She-est and throws him into blizing range of Ju – he flys, he lands, he blitzes for a 1dice, no hope, block on the blodging ghoul – Pow! Sploosh! Funerial music plays… RIP Ju!

Well now it’s a scramble for the ball just 4 yards short of the endzone and after a brief scrap WH!’s Wight Vu emerges with the ball. The U-dogs throw everything they have at stopping the Wight but with only 6 players on the field it seems nothing they could do would stop him running the full length of the pitch to score. With Vu just 3 yards short of scoring the U-dog’s skaven thrower Cee’gra launches a last ditch blitz attempt putting Vu down and retrieving the ball on his own 2 yard line.

Without any support around him Cee’gra was easy prey for WH!’s second Wight, Gu. Pow! Sploosh! The undertaker gets called in again as the U-dog’s most skilled skaven joins the undead ranks. The ball bounces into the very corner of the U-dog’s TD zone, all WH! have to do is pick it up – all seems lost for the U-dogs, but in a plucky show of insane courage Odeen-natses runs back from the opponent’s half linking up with Gerald PFR at the half way line to be thrown back towards the loose ball. But all was in vane – the ghoul Xas manages to fall on the ball in the dying seconds of the match to claim a hard fought win for WH!

At the end of the match the U-dogs had suffer a total of 8 casualties including one death and two career ending injuries all to skaven players. It will take a long time for this team to rebuild but with insane heroism, and insane insanity, shown today I have no doubt they will be back stronger than ever!
