“What a performance we put on. Such stars, and what a horrific cast of monsters we had to face today. The show started off focused on them, and for a bit of interest we decided to do most of the show without Buffy (Spike's debut in the second half filled in).
Our lot were focused on Fat ole Smelly Dan, with limited success, and next thing Dana's taken a shine to their team and they're away, Angel giving chase alone against a hiding Lot Lizard. Willow garnered some attention in the back, and their Sweaty Ray's approach was rebuffed, causing the ref to call time on the half before they could score. A cliffhanger! Always good for ratings.
Our turn in the limelight, and what if it didn't snow! Rotten luck! The ball fell to Faith, surprised at her part she advanced a step too far and was soon knocked back one. Giles recovered, and their Bama Ray slipped in the snow to give us some space. Sweaty Ray didn't take to Spike's star power (something foul in his eye), so we went for the sideline, but big Dan freed the ball into the crowd and our fans delivered it to the centre. Cordellia bought their chase to a halt with her head, Giles distracted their cover and Willow pounced on the ball and away clear to score the winner.
A last scene, our fans cheered us on, they struggled with the ball for a bit and time was called. A top show, more fans join in following the Extended Season Eight.”
