1st half starts with a pitch invasion that knocks 5 dwarves down and only 1 Norse (see the 12k to 3K fan advantage for a +2 fame!). Not only that, but his 1st block of the game BH's one of my slayers. 1db's are working well for him as well, but despite this, I am eventually able to get past mid-field and in for a TD on turn 8 (without stalling I might add, but only because it was a very tactical 1st half, heavily dependent on both sides maneuvers and positioning. The DR helped quite a lot, though several 3db's (well at least one) failed to knock anyone down :) All of my KO's recovered by the 2nd half, but he had one still out, so it was 10 on 10 for the 2nd half.
2nd half the 1db's continued to work well for the norse, and I was not able to stop him from scoring--however, I put enough pressure on to force the score on turn 5, giving me 4 turns to score the winning TD. The final drive finally saw the dwarves blocking like they are accustomed to, with 2 of the Casualties coming on this drive as well as at least one (and I think 2) KO's happening as well. Also, his final 1db only served to push my runner back (though why he did not use one of his 2 RR's left on the block I do not know). I was able to get the marking player off and away (down) from my runner, and successfully avoided the EZ trip wire, making both GFI's for the winning TD!
