We unleashed Anarchy on them, with the usual ringer. Fraud had the ref handing us the ball, and got away with it, Dirty Pool seeing to their lesser Ghoul. Fraud convinced the other to stand still on the blitz, but our ringer turned on us and put Nepotism out of the game. Their fancy Wight saw snakes, but so did Fraud, and the Conspiracy of snakes was complete with their hyhmä falling on the first block.
Fraud gave them an extra (game bug, 6/5 1st half, bad turnover) go at it and from there it was a comedy of errors preventing both teams getting far with the ball.
We tried a rash defence to mark a short kick in the second, Intimidation and Extortion at play, working together for a change. Their Mummy cleaned up our Corruption, and while Fraud was at play on their Wights, those snakes came back to hunt Extortion out of the game and a weak Conspiracy play left them free to run.
They stalled for time, and hammered us well, we had to perform with limited numbers just to tie it up. Corruption looking unsure, Conspiracy cleared the way for Secrecy and Bribery to put Thieving in reach, and there's no stopping Thieving with valuables to be had.
What are the odds, really, of all the failed pickups, dodges, how much money must have been riding on a tie for this to come out ... 40k? Well, it's more than the undead got, which just shows how random all this sportsball is! Praise Nuffle, there's just no predicting the results!”
