We pushed at them and they tried a cross-field switch, but they were as spread as us and Xander got around them and picked up the scatter! But they swarmed him and he couldn't dodge away, just not his style. Willow put in a huge effort to have one last go at saving it, but the result was null and their numbers told.

Another go at the special half-time routine, no luck, and down came the rain for some wet-look action in it's place.

Our turn in the rain, the thralls drew them south with Spike, but he handed to Willow and ... the bloodlust struck. They swarmed her as she fed, surrounded! Quickly, Angel gave a push and she was nearly free! Dodge, away, running free and going for it in the rain! They covered, but she's the star when Buffy's off and scored easily.

Their sure-handed Faboo fumbled with the ball in the wet, and Xander was in to claim it, nearly! Finally Faboo advanced the scene, only for Cappadonna to stumble in support and expire! Buffy scattered it (the dead no match for her, though soon off to sign autographs for the day), but the slippery pick up went to the crowd and they threw it the wrong way. Angel covered, and the tie was called. Such tight struggles, always popular with the fans, not to mention all that water about the place!”
