“Perfect example of a good plan gone to waste. Samuli intentionally challenged me, seeing I was within 40 str of his team and hoping to get some nasty handicaps due to the TR difference. No such luck for him--losing a rr, virus hitting zero niggles, and get the ref--leaving him exposed to be taken apart by my team. Granted, this is a Norse team, and with everybody having block it's harder to simply beat upon them, but my gutter runners raced circles around him. Game started dangerously--we received the kickoff, but the very first block was a blitz by my rat ogre; double-skulls. However, despite his summary pounding down and surrounding my team, he couldn't stop my gr's from squirting loose and scoring. He pretty much gave up hope at this point, trying merely to pound my rats into the pitch. Meanwhile, FTL, my super-star scoring machine, was leaping over the opposing line of players to steal the ball away from his thrower, who quite simply was having an impossible time picking up the ball. That's what inflated my score a bit--he kept double-fumbling the ball, wasting rr's that never worked for him, trying to foul my guys out using his GTR. He managed to ko a few guys here and there, including my rat ogre twice, but I'd score very soon after and they'd return to the pitch good as new. This just wasn't Samuli's game...”
