“The Gang Warriors make a raid deep in enemy territory and are getting their butts kicked, but somehow escape victorious.

The Chaos badly hurt Xavier and ko a loner immediately. They soon leave the ball carrier exposed but after he is taken down another beastman catches the ball. We thought our chance would be gone but the carrier is kept exposed and eventually we knock it free. There is some real scuffling and by the time we have 6 of our players taken out, including 3 cas, while the Chaos have just 1 injured and have regained the ball it looked real bad. We get a succession of awful tripups. They score but with some improved hitting (but poor ko rolls) we play 6 v 8 2nd half.
Rembrandt is taken down on their flank. Cleon tries to retake but is tripped into the ball. A helpful crowd throw gets the ball near their endzone and eventually Spider grabs it for the TD!
We have 8 v 8 as the Chaos take the ball. Fox is given a clean chance to blitz the beastman carrier in their half but trips up in front of him! It seems lost but before moving the carrier a Chaos Warrior hits a loner Elf and is beaten down! Fox gets the ball but is taken down before the endzone. It takes some effort to get the ball down and the stall fails. Elves teaming up can't get the one defending beastman down but finally things work out and Fox picks the ball up from in front of his nose to score the winner!
