“As expected the Mad Experiments took a beating on the pitch, but came out on top on the scoreboard. B. Fieldmouse Skinner, Time Dilation of Gratvity, and the Conservermin of Mass all had to be carted of the pitch.

The Skaven had a good start to the game, managing to kick off and steal the ball on the opening drive. That Bull Centaur Gridlock was missing from the game did quite a bit to help with that. Having only one imposing ball carrier made it difficult for the Chaos Dwarves to cage up and maintain a mobile blitzing piece. The team was stalled out by a screen, and the cage was eventually busted by Schrödinger's Rat. Gutter Runners predictably swooped in and absconded with the ball.

The game nearly fell apart in the second half, though. the goons game out strong, blitzing and managing a touchdown after a critical failed dodge by Kosmouse 186. The play looked like it could have led to a touchdown for the rats, as the Dwarf team had out of necessity overextended. Instead, Burg walked into the endzone untouched and picked up the ball for the score.

The second skaven drive didn't fare much better with the rats unable to get any clean lanes until after the Chaos Dwarfs had injured more of their players. A poorly thought out pass play left the ballcarrier in the open and the Chaos dwarfs pounced. Fortunately for the Skaven, Bull Centaur, Burg, would be unable to handle the ball for the rest of the match. A critical fumble gave the Skaven team exactly the opening it needed.

A block and a blitz later, and the ball was left laying next to only one chaos dwarf, which is as good as none with Gutter Runners nearby. Rodent Boyle picked up the ball and ran it back for a touchdown. The Chaos Dwarf team would get another shot to score and equalize, but they just couldn't muster the speed necessary to do so.
