“The crowd were revved up for this long awaited contest between two experienced rival coaches who last played a tight match which was abandoned at 1-1 due to an impatient referee.
First off we were out of the traps like whippets and blitzed the Skaven. But we couldn't take a player down and though Santo quickly got under the ball he couldn't make the catch. The rats wasted no time and with a pickup and handoff most of the team was on our side of the pitch and a GR (Templeton) scored. Just before that 2 Saurii brought down the Rat Ogre, and mercenary Helmut Wolf sliced down with the Chainsaw. It got through the thing's armour..but no it was just stunned. Moments later Helmut was sent off after the score. Shouldn't have placed him initially when not receiving.

Our first drive was a mess for a time. Santo had the ball but the Rat Ogre frenziedly knocked back a skink and got through to him. But Santo skipped over the long tail. He had to do it again to get into space and through but was brought down by a couple of dodgy Gutter Runners! Ultimatos did a great job on the carrier and Santos regained the ball with a brilliant dodging run before going off to the corner. Just before Santo scored Diablo had a big clash of heads with Templeton who appeared to be killed. But no! The apo saved him. Another gutter was also injured.

Things seemed to have turned our way and Spartacus held the ball after a touchback. He advanced well in cover and meanwhile Diablo got at the patched up Templeton and killed him for sure this time! The rats still made it tricky to score but Spartacus broke a skaven tackle and blitzed another one out of the way to get our 2nd TD.

We then did a short kick and a 2nd blitz! Santo caught the ball. He couldn't score though and the Tiger-Rats went for a passing move. But there was that Krox Diablo again and this time amazingly getting an interception! Astonishing. Well he is a big player to throw it passed. He advanced, couldn't score but after a rat steal Spartacus smashed it down and regained the ball for a rare Saurus 2nd TD, and the team's 3rd.

We were down to 7 players and with the crowd rioting there was still time for another Gutter Runner TD. 3-2. Great match and Thespian took some hard rolls very well.
