Things went pretty smoothly. The casualties were flying in from the whistle and as predicted the stronger Dark Elf team couldn't harm my blodge blitzer cage when I got the ball.
I did play a bit conservatively towards the end of the second half, crowding my players around the ball carrier in my own half and waited for the whistle to signal the end. Its always good for a team to win the first match.
You played well Frost. Shame I played better though eh?”
#11 Ildurion the Illwilled – Smashed Knee (NI) #4 Roniel the Reaver – Dead (RIP)
“Well, what can I say? My Dark Elf boys were obviously baffled by the concept of playing against a bunch of ladies (in the widest sense of the word) and the Witch Elf girls were too concerned with their makeup to be bothered to really play a good game. They'll get such a scolding that they'll all hope they'd be as lucky as Roniel the Reaver was, not having to be yelled at until his pointy ears turn all red and blue.
And no, there's no shame in a defeat against a worthy opponent, and although a conservative strategy for keeping the ball safe and playing time might be considered "boring", it's still a wise decision. Plus even that strategy takes good coaching to really work. Your girls got their victory and they earned it. Good playing.”
