The exact opposite of my first two games: my opponent started receiving the first half, removed two players from the pitch in turn one and all went down-hill from there. Hiring Ripper Bolgrot was critical; he would inflict three injuries during the match, as well as some ko's and many stuns. The first half was a typical grind and resulted in a logical 1-0 score at half-time.
Due to a banned dirty player during a foul, the opposition was somewhat out of position early in the second half and Gilgorod's Tribe managed to slide through the gap for the equalizer. Armor continued to crumble though and we were outnumbered throughout the whole game.
Risks had to be taken and we forced some gfi's (in the snow) and a pass, but it all worked and we were 2-1 down at turn 6 of the second half. Then a Blitz! occurred, determining the final 3-1 after a last resort of reaching the goblin for a TTM failed.
An easy game on paper went totally wrong... but well played Dominik! Never before seen a coach managing four double skulls in the first half without even affecting the game!”
