“I tip my hat to you Lord_Shambles. Despite some initial poor luck (the two dead linerats) he kept right in it, tenaciously scrambling on Defense and sneaking through to convert on Offense. It was only a lucky turn 8 play (after a moderately unlucky turn 7 play) that allowed me to sneak in the win.

We had to reboot in the middle of the second half, so there's not much of a replay to see. As I remember it, the game was primarily a defensive one... I kept putting up relatively flimsy screens while he kept them relatively contained. On Defense, he had some good, solid screens set up downfield but he was short on bodies and no screen is solid when there are flying gobbos to worry about!
